Merry Christmas from Christian Home Academy!

The celebration of Jesus' birth is an awesome time.   The school is buzzing with much activities in preparation for the celebration.  Students are looking forward to the upcoming Christmas break, doing special projects, completing academics and much more.  All of us at Christian Home Academy are blessed to have the opportunity to work with and teach your children and grandchildren.  Thank you and Jesus for the opportunity.  Here are some of the upcoming events at the school.
  • The staff and management of C.H.A. would like to thank all who helped make our Thanksgiving banquet a great success!  We very much appreciate your help in cooking, serving and cleaning up for the event.  It was great fun and fellowship.
  • Friday, December 14th is our annual Christmas dinner at the school from  5:30 till 7:30pm.  This is a covered dish event and an RSVP event.  Please attend and RSV P!   We plan to have great fellowship and food.
  •
  • December 17th to the 19th, we will be conducting the second annual Christmas Wreath Auction.  Please come in the building during that period and bid on one of the wreaths.  This is another fund raising event for field trips and extra curricular activities.  Each class has worked hard to create these wreaths and your bids will show your support for their work.

  • Thursday, December 20th is a half day.  We dismiss promptly at 12:00 pm.  There is no aftercare on that day.  Our complete staff will be attending a Christmas gathering and will not be available until that evening at the dance.
  •
  • Thursday evening, December 20th from 7:00 until 9:00 pm. C.H.A. will be conducting our first annual Christmas dance.  Students from grades 6 through 12 are eligible to attend providing they are on good status regarding discipline.  Light refreshments and Christian music will be provided by private D.J.  You must RSVP to attend.  There is a strict dress code in effect and anyone violating the dress code will not be admitted to the dance.  Notices have gone home to all eligible students for parent signature.  The cost to attend is $1.00.
  •
  • The Christmas/New Years break begins on  Thursday December 20th at 12:00 pm and returning on Wednesday, January 9th 2013.  Have a safe and blessed Christmas and New Year..

The 2012/2013 School Year is Almost Here!

The new school year is approaching and all of us at Christian Home Academy are excited.

We want to let you all know of some important dates for you to remember. First of all, August 11, 2012 is NEW PARENT orientation day. All NEW PARENTS should be at the school at 9:00 am for approximately 2hrs. A chance to become familiar with school staff and procedures. This is a "PARENTS ONLY" affair. Please do not bring children.

Please go to the website and get the school supply list. Remember there are two lists. Be sure and get the grade appropriate one for the child you are looking for.

School uniform shirts will be ordered in early August so please, if you need new shirts, contact the school to arrange payment so that your shirts will be included in the first order. Shirts must be paid prior to the order. There will be another order after school starts.

Art, Music, Tutoring and Karate will start after Labor Day so be thinking about what services you may want for your student and let us know when school starts.

School Spirit T-Shirts will be ordered after school starts so be looking for the notice once school begins. Remember this is a fundraiser for field trips later in the year.

We hope that all our families and staff had a great summer break and we are looking forward to getting back together again for a great school year. We want to welcome all our new families to the school and look forward to getting to know all of you. May the Lord Bless You, Lynne and Gary Lenzi To God Be The Glory!

Our Thursday Chapel services have been enhanced by the addition of our praise and worship team. Mr. Chris has done a great job leading the team. We would like to thank all of our pastors and youth leaders and speakers for their time and service to our students.

We will be continuing with our summer program starting on June 11, 2012 thru August 3, 2012. Please talk with Miss Lynne or Mr. Gary about your students participation in this valuable program. Credits earned during the summer program will be applied to the 2012/2013 school. If your child is below grade level, this is their chance to catch up. If your child is on grade level, this is their chance to get ahead. If your child is ahead of grade level, this could be the opportunity to work towards early graduation. We have had students in the past graduate at age 16 and go on to college thru the summer program. This program is not part of either Step Up For Students or McKay Scholarship programs. Parents pay for this program directly to the school. We have discounts for multiple students. This program is open to all CHA students from K-12.

The first day of school for the 2012/2013 school year is August 14, 2012. Please confirm with our administration your plans to return next year. We begin our planning for next school year in April each year.

Thank you to all our parents and families that have worked with us to the benefit of the students. This year has been a success both academically as well as spiritually. We have been blessed again this year with great students and cooperative families. The Holy Spirit has been active throughout the school this year. Thanks be to God!
