- Christian Home Academy has a strong committment to missions. We teach and encourage our students and staff to support missions around the world and at home. In the past and currently we support Voice of the Martyrs, Guatemala Outreach, and many local church missions. Currently we are involved with Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse. We are supplying Christmas shoe boxes filled with gifts for orphans and children in need. For most of these children, these are the only gifts they will see at Christmas. We ask each parent to supply one shoe box with small toys and other gifts for either a boy or a girl. Our goal is to provide 100 gift boxes. Please prayerfully consider sending one or more of these boxes to school by November 15th in order to bless these children and at the same time helping us to teach your students the value of helping those in need. Reach out with the love of Jesus. You and your child will be blessed by this!
- Remember there is no school on Veterans' Day, November 11 and there is no school from November 22 thru November 26 for Thanksgiving break.
- The teachers and staff of Christian Home Academy wish you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving celebration, and a reminder that we have much to be grateful to God for. Most of the world lives on less than two dollars a day and the primary goal of every day is to get enough food to survive. How blessed are we, that our biggest concerns are more oriented towards comfort rather than survival. The Lord has blessed us to live where we live and to have the luxuries that we have. To God be the Glory, Amen.
